Festive Fun at the Martha Christmas Fayre
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Christmas Fayre at The Guildhall in Sandwich on Saturday 17th November and to all the wonderful entries we received to our colouring competition – prizes will be delivered to the schools of the winners in the next few days. The day saw a steady stream of visitors including a visit from the Mayoress of Sandwich.
Special thanks go out to our band of dedicated volunteers, without whom we just couldn’t run such events, Kevin and his team at The Guildhall, the Co-op in Sandwich, whose team supported the event and supplied all the refreshments and to Barclays and Discovery Park for sponsoring the event. Thank you for all the Festive cake donations. A special thank you to the big man himself – Father Christmas and his two elves who gave up their Saturday to support Martha at what is a very busy time of year for them.
The event has raised over £2,500 to transforming the lives of people with profound disabilities!
