Fashion show
Our fantastic fashion show at St George’s Church, Deal was a huge success, raising an incredible £3,500.
Thank you to everyone who took part and supported us including the wonderful Johnny Lewis from KMFM and the fabulous team at Barclays who not only served refreshments and took auction bids throughout the night, but secured matched funding from Barclays.
Staff from The White House hair and beauty salon in Deal not only volunteered as models but also did an amazing job on the hair, while Suzanna at Make-Upps made sure all our models looked stunning taking care of the make up. Alan Langley of Dover Design Photography took some wonderful photos and Millards Insurance Services generously helped cover the cost of the canapés.
We had a huge array of prizes donated by local companies for our silent auction including The Ashford International Hotel, Cath Kidston and The Marlowe Theatre from Canterbury, and The White House, Knots Hair Salon, 81 Beach Street and Femme Naturelle from Deal.
And finally, we owe a huge thank you to Wardrobe Mistresses for running such a stunning evening and to everyone who came along, watched the show and bought the amazing clothes and accessories. The money raised will help us continue our work to transform the lives of people with profound disabilities.
