Discovery Park and A Pearson Growers join forces to support Sandwich Prom
On Sunday 19th July 2015 a spectacular prom in aid of Martha Trust is set to take place in the grounds of The Salutation, home to Dom and Steph Parker of Channel 4’s Gogglebox.
Discovery Park and A Pearson Growers will be supporting the event and encouraging employees to get involved on the day, making up a team of volunteer marshals.
Dee Murphy, Fundraising and Event Officer of Martha Trust, said: “We are so grateful to both these firms for their support as it means that more of the funds raised on the day can go directly toward our work supporting people with profound disabilities, instead of covering event costs.”
Kimberley Anderson, Corporate Relations Manager at Discovery Park, said: “We are delighted to be able to support such an important cause. We are also proud that our tenants and team are so willing to volunteer their time to help on the day. I am sure it will be a great event and will benefit the local community.”

A host of local acts will be performing a variety of musical styles and guests can enjoy the stunning grounds of The Salutation whilst being entertained by talented musicians. There will be plenty to keep the kids busy too, including; a treasure trail, storytelling and face painting.
Steph and Dom, who shot to fame after appearing on the BAFTA Award winning show Gogglebox, will be hosting the charity auction.
Doors open at 12 noon and tickets, in advance, cost £20 for a family (2 adults and 3 children up to 16 years of age), single tickets cost £8 per adult and £3 per child.
