Our Fashion Show on Thursday 7th March was a terrific success, raising over £3,000 in total!
The event had huge support from local companies, with two volunteers from Barclays helping out with the raffle and silent auction on the night. Barclays also generously match funded everything raised by staff members Sarah Smith from the Sandwich branch and Helen Fry from Broadstairs.
The White House in Deal donated a £40 voucher for the raffle, as well as volunteering for the catwalk and creating some stunning hairstyles on the models. The look was completed by local make up professional Suzanna from Make Upps and all the preparations were captured by Alan Langley of Dover Design Photography.
Raffle prizes included a night for two at the Ashford International Hotel, a Double Friends’ Membership with the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury, a £50 dinner voucher for two at the Bell Hotel Sandwich, a wash, cut and finish from Knotts Hairdressing, Deal and Sunday lunch for two at 81 Beach Street, Deal.
There was also a £10 gift voucher from Hawkins Menswear in Deal, a voucher for the Elizavet Greek restaurant in Sandwich, a 2 litre tub of Solleys Farms Real Diary ice cream, a bottle of sparkling wine from The Bohemian in Deal and a Winter Gardens prize.
All proceeds from the Fashion Show will support our work so thank you to everyone who took part!
