Therapy Lead – Hastings

Salary from: £12.13 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week (9am – 4pm to include 2 weekend shifts per month)

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Therapy Lead in Mary House.

You will be working in a friendly environment where teamwork and individual support are high priorities while providing all therapy programmes in line with training delivered by the local team. This will include all chest physio, passive movement, and postural therapy, with this hands-on work being delegated in any absence to ensure continuity of care.

You will also cover as a Senior Support Worker when required, filling the responsibilities as set out in the SSW job description. Supervising, motivating, and supporting the Support Workers on shift and ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of care for all residents, both individually and in groups.

In this role you will be required to provide Manual Handling Training to the staff teams as required as part of the mandatory training programme, ensuring that the ‘Train the Trainer’ qualification is kept up to date.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and to be able to delegate and give clear instruction is vital for the role.
