Senior Support Worker – Activity Lead Hastings

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Senior Support Worker, Activity Lead in our home in Hastings.
35hrs per week over 5 days (to be agreed) 8am – 3pm

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full activity provision, ensuring that it is accessible and appropriate for residents and that they are supported to engage and actively participate in the world around them. You will also be expected to ensure activities are recorded through both PCS notes and photo evidence.

The first hour and a half of the shift will be used to support residents with their morning drinks and ensure this support is appropriately and accurately recorded. Thereafter, the day will follow a clear daily structure to ensure time for providing activities, planning/recording and ensuring families are kept updated as required.

The position also requires the post holder to be able to manage their own activities budget, ensuring that purchases are appropriate, resident focused and that purchases are the best value for the charitable funds.

You will also need to be able to demonstrate how you embody the values of Martha Trust in the way you work.
